So what if the Huskies were to beat the Ducks this year in the new Husky Stadium, how would I rejoice in the victory?

Well the last time I saw the Huskies beat Oregon was in 2003. The Ducks were ranked in the top 10, Washington was sitting on the edge of getting a bowl birth. Washington went into Autzen and handed it to Oregon, 42-10. Since it has been nine long years of agony. This year though I feel like the Huskies have a good shot at the victory and upset. The Huskies return a ton of starters, and the offensive line looks solid. Also thje offence is going to be an up tempo, pro style team. This well help the defence with endurence and make them faster.
Now Oregon is going to have lots of returners also. But they have lost key parts to both the defence and the question is? Can they replace those players? Barner is gone so who well step up and be his replacement? The team has Thomas but he is more of a utility player getting the ball on key plays, or an attempt to shift momentum.
My final thoughts? I think everything is looking at a Huskies win. A new Stadium, new look Offence, and a all around good team. This should be a fun year in PAC 12 football. Oh I can't forget about how I would celebrate. I personally would throw it in all my friends faces! 9 years of agony and dumb Duck fans spewing out nonsence I would love seeing them throw out excuses, and blame the refs for this and this. I would just say Bow Down little Brother!

What the Seattle Sounders could look like at full strength.

After seeing what Obafemi Martins showed on the field versus Portland I saw a combo that could rip apart defences. But what is really intresting is the defence. The team showed it can play with two defenders playing farther up and they can run up and down the field to help attack or defend. Basically they are playing a (2-1-2-3-2) formation with Alonso playing a more defencesive role.
So what do I see in the next month or so is a team that could dominate the MLS and if they can hold of Santos, maybe even holding up the Confacaf Trophy and the US Open Cup. The team is loaded with talent. They have speed on the edges and lots of size. The team looks to be built on winning multiple championships. Not just this year but in the years to come.

Seattle Sounders epic come from behind win!

So last yesterday I was at school and all I could think about was the Sounders game. After a long wait I sat on my couch to watch what would be one of the best games in Confacaf champions league history. Not because of a MLS squad beating a Mexican squad, but more so to the point that the Sounders played 45 minutes of good football while Tigres played 135 solid minutes of dominating football and only managed 2 goals. While Seattle up a man for 45 minutes they stil managed to net 3 goals.
Sitting and watching that game was frustrating. Eddie johnson recieved a yellow card in the 15th minute. I was thinking, Oh shoot another game where the officiating was going to side with the Mexican side. Then in the 23rd minute Yedlin got shoved aside and my heart sank as the ball glided across the field and onto the foot of Elias Hernández and into the back of the net.
The game quickly started to even out and Tigres recieved two yellows one of which went to Manuel Viniegra. The officiating began to even out and more towards the Sounders way. In the 45th minute after a foul, Manuel Viniegra kicked the ball away from Sounder Osvaldo Alonso who would later pick up a yellow. The referee saw it all happen and gave Viniegra his second yellow and got the red card. This put Seattle up a man.
Once the second half started it was a new game. The Sounders owned possesion and played superb defence. in the 53rd minute the Sounder got a corner, one of there 13. The ball came in low and went out of the box to land at the feet of DeAndre Yedlin, who drilled it into the box took a deflection and into the back of the net. From that moment I knew the Sounders were gonna score again. My only doubt was that's of our defence mostly Leo Gonzalez he wasgettin beat and making tons of mistakes. But I ended up being wrong. I the 60th  minute Djimi Traore hit another long distantance goal from 30 yards. It hit the post and hit well inside the line to put the agg. to 2-2. Sounders still need to score to advance.
That goal didn't come till the 75th minute. Zakuani put a pass to Johnson who made it past two defenders and took the goalie one on one and hit an incredible goal from one of the toughest angles to score. The rest of the game was really back and forth. Tigres had its chances but the weather and turf had other ideas.
Now the Sounders have to focus on rivals Portland, and retake the cascadia cup!
